Ciao Matteo e a tutti,
allora ti spiego subito e spero che tu od altri possano darmi
risposta.
Io voglio far funzionare XNET unicamente in ambiente internet;
uso la piattaforma Linux con i PBBS xfbbd ed obcm che funzionano
bene usando la modalita' telnet.
Il buon funzionamento, cioe' l'indirizzamento dei pacchetti e'
assicurato dai settaggi di Linux con l'hardware (cioe' una scheda
di rete 3com509b ed il router adsl) e del setup della chiamata
forward nei sistemi di cui sopra.
Il sistema XNET per poter scambiare pacchetti con l'esterno lo fa
attraverso porte e interfacce opportunamente settate nei files
AUTOBOOT.NET, AUTOEXEC.NEP ed IP.NET e fin qui nessun problema;
ora, come gia' ho fatto in passato, se si tratta delle interfacce
NETROM, SLIP, AX25/DG, che risultano nello stato UP per default,
il tutto funziona bene.
Ora a me non serve tutto questo, ma mi serve di sapere come
attivare l'interfaccia ETHER (dare il cmd 'if' in modalita' SYSop
stando dentro il nodo XNET per vedere lo stato delle interfacce)
che risulta nello State 'down'.
Ora, in queste condizioni il nodo non riesce a comunicare con
mondo esterno, infatti non puo' entrare/uscire nessun pacchetto e
di conseguenza non puo' dialogare con gli altri XNET per
scambiare i routing.
Insomma:
