Shortwave Radiogram
Program 401
Hello friends,
Thank you for your reports during the broadcast and repeat broadcast of program 400. Al WD4AH radioactiveal.bsky.social managed the Bluesky and X accounts while I was away.
Last week, during the Saturday 2300-2330 UTC transmission, Al did not hear any signal from WRMI on 7570 or 7780 kHz. The third frequency, 9455 kHz, was heard, and it is usually the best frequency for this broadcast, sometimes received as far as Australia. I have not received any notice from WRMI about frequency changes, so I am leaving 7570, 7780 and 9455 in the schedule grid below. Try all three.
As I write this, new is coming in about major solar activity. We'll see how this affects reception of program 401.
A video of Shortwave Radiogram program 400 is provided by Scott in Ontario (Wednesday, May 7, 1330 UTC). The audio archive is maintained by Mark in the UK. H0b0-Radio in Washington state offers this handy IQ recording and other media. Analysis is provided by Roger in Germany.
Here is the lineup for Shortwave Radiogram, program 401, 15-21 May 2025, in MFSK modes as noted:
