PREDICTIONS FOR 10 Oct 2012 10CM FLUX: 110 / AP: 011
PREDICTIONS FOR 11 Oct 2012 10CM FLUX: 115 / AP: 001
COMMENT: Solar activity is expected to be eruptive for the next 48
hours, with risks of C class flares from two regions currently just
behind the east limb. One is located to the south and produced a CME, on

Oct. 8th, around 10:00 UT, and it is not expected to be geoeffective. A

partial halo CME observed on Oct. 7th, around 0830 UT, is going
essentially southward and is not likely to trigger any geoeffective
effects either. Geomagnetic activity is expected to be active during the

next 48 hours as the Earth is still under the influence of the ICME of

Oct. 8th. Moderate storm conditions (Kp=6) were still observed early on

Oct. 9th (from 0 to 6 UT).

TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 046, BASED ON 18 STATIONS.
