COMMENT: The Catania sunspot group 77 situated at the east limb
produced M 1.9 flare peaking at 11:32 UT today. At the moment it is not

clear if the flare was associated with a CME. We expect more flaring
activity at the C-class level and possibly also M-class flares. The
Earth is currently inside a slow solar wind flow with the speed of about

460 km/s. The interplanetary magnetic field is stable with the magnitude

of 6 nT. The geomagnetic conditions are quiet and expected to remain so

in the following hours. The active geomagnetic conditions are expected

on June 10, due to the arrival of the CME-driven shock wave associated

with the partial-halo CME from June 6.

TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 058, BASED ON 09 STATIONS.
