COMMENT: Catania sunspot group 63 (NOAA AR 1494) produced a C1.1 flare

peaking at 07:55 UT today. More C-class flares can be expected from this

group, as well as from the Catania sunspot groups 64 (NOAA AR 1496) and

62 (NOAA AR 1493). The M-class flares are possible but not very probable.

The Earth is still inside the fast speed stream due to the recurrent
coronal hole. At the moment the solar wind speed is 700 km/s and the
interplanetary magnetic field (IMF) is stable with the magnitude of
about 5 nT. The arrival of the coronal hole high speed stream resulted

in active geomagnetic conditions (K=4 reported by Dourbes and IZMIRAN,

NOAA reported Kp=4) on June 4 and early on June 5. We expect quiet
geomagnetic conditions.
