PREDICTIONS FOR 04 Jun 2012 10CM FLUX: 129 / AP: 035

COMMENT: The Sun has produced a C1.2 flare peaking at 10:08 UT and a
C1.6 flare peaking at 12:11 UT on June 3. More C flares are expected,
with a slight chance of an M flare.
The Earth currently resides within a low speed solar wind stream with
velocities between 320 and 370 km/s, with the IMF varying between 5 and

10 nT. The geomagnetic field was at quiet to active levels (Dourbes K
between 1 and 4; NOAA Kp between 2 and 4) during the past 24 hours. The

active intervals corresponded to periods when the Bz component of the
IMF was below -5 nT. Quiet to active levels (K Dourbes < 5) are expected

for June 3. Active geomagnetic levels (K Dourbes = 4) with a chance of

minor storm intervals (K Dourbes = 5) are predicted for June 4 and 5,
due to the arrival of a recurrent coronal hole high speed stream.

TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 109, BASED ON 02 STATIONS.
