COMMENT: Seven C flares occurred in the past 24 hours, most of which
were produced by NOAA AR 11493 near the East limb (which is the
returning M-flaring region 11476). The brightest flare was a C2.5 flare

produced by AR 11493 peaking around 15:36 UT on May 31. More C flares
are expected, especially from NOAA AR 11493 and 11495, with a chance for

an isolated M-flare.
The Earth currently resides within a low speed solar wind stream with
velocity around 350 km/s, and the IMF lies around 5 nT. The geomagnetic

field was at quiet levels (Dourbes K between 1 and 3; NOAA Kp between 1

and 3) during the past 24 hours. Quiet levels (K Dourbes < 4) are
expected for June 1, 2 and 3.

TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 084, BASED ON 08 STATIONS.
