COMMENT: Solar activity is expected to reach eruptive levels with risks

of C-class flares from NOAA ARs 1465, 1466, 1468 and 1471. A long
duration event (C3.9) occurred on April 30, in NOAA AR 1465, peaking at

07:38UT. It was associated with a type II bursts and a CME (~650 km/s
from COR2A measurements). Due to the position of the source region on
the west limb, no significant geomagnetic effect is expected. A C6 flare

occurred in NOAA AR 1471 on April 30, 10:41 UT peak time. No clear
signature of a CME has been observed related to this event. Geomagnetic

activity is expected to be mostly quiet during the next 48 hours.
