COMMENT: Solar activity has increased slightly as 7 low C-class flares

were observed in the last 24h. More C-class flares can be expected,
especially from NOAA AR 1469 (Cat 15 and 16), and there is a slight
chance for another M-class event. CACtus detected a halo CME on April 27

at 16:12 based on SOHO/LASCO images. STEREO/COR2 data have shown this
was a back-sided event. Another CME was visible in the SOHO/LASCO data

starting from 19:00 UT on April 27. As it was very slow (<200 km/s) and

directed towards the north-east, we do not expect this CME to become
geo-effective. A filament eruption was observed on April 28 in
SDO/AIA304 images at 10:45 UT in the south-west quadrant. No coronograh

data is available at this moment to assess this event.
Geomagnetic conditions remain quiet. Unsettled conditions are possible

on April 30 due to coronal hole wind stream effects.
