COMMENT: Solar activity has been at eruptive levels during the past 24

hours, with a C1.2-flare peaking at 21:12 UT on March 30. Solar activity

is expected to stay at eruptive levels, with risks of C flares from NOAA

AR 11429 and 11442. There is a slight chance for an isolated M flare
from AR 11429. AIA imagery observed a filament eruption around 14:36 UT

on March 30. An associated CME was registered by LASCO C2 at 14:46 UT,

but we do not expect this CME to become geo-effective.
In the past 24 hours, solar wind speeds as observed by ACE increased
from about 360 to about 445 km/s, and then decreased again to about 350

km/s. There was a jump in solar wind speed measured by ACE from about
360 to about 425 km/s near 12h UT on March 30. Geomagnetic activity has

been quiet (Dourbes K ranged from 0 to 2; NOAA Kp was always 1) during

the past 24 hours. Quiet levels (K Dourbes < 4) are expected for March

31, April 1 and 2.
