COMMENT: A C1.0 flare occurred in newly numbered NOAA AR 1422 at 08:51

UT this morning. This region has been developing quickly since
yesterday, showing a lot of polarity mixing. It is currently situated
near the central meridian. We expect low solar activity for the coming

days, with a chance for another C-flare.
Geomagnetic conditions were dominated by a fast coronal hole wind
stream this morning, which caused active conditions in Dourbes. Kp
reached minor storm level (Kp=5) between 03:00 and 06:00 UT. We expect
a
return to quiet geomagnetic conditions later today.

TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 047, BASED ON 14 STATIONS.
