COMMENT: Active solar conditions continue due to NOAA AR 11389. This
region produced 2 M-flares yesterday. The first was an M2.4 flare at
13:15 UT. This flare was followed by an M1.5 flare peaking at 16:26 UT.
NOAA AR 11386 contributed by producing a C1.2 flare at 17:31 UT. No
earth-directed CME's were observed by the SOHO/LASCO and STERO/COR2
coronographs, but these instruments suffer from data gaps. More
C-flaring is expected, also another M-flare is possible from NOAA AR
11389, which has a magnetic beta-gamma configuration.
Geomagnetic conditions are expected to remain mostly quiet during the
coming days, with possible effects from a coronal hole high speed wind
stream.
TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 047, BASED ON 03 STATIONS.
