PREDICTIONS FOR 08 Nov 2011 10CM FLUX: 184 / AP: 008
PREDICTIONS FOR 09 Nov 2011 10CM FLUX: 186 / AP: 002
PREDICTIONS FOR 10 Nov 2011 10CM FLUX: 188 / AP: 003
COMMENT: NOAA ARs 1338 and 1339 situated close to the solar central
meridian have a complicated configuration of the photospheric magnetic

field (beta-gamma and beta-gamma-delta respectively). The flaring
activity is expected to continue in these active regions, with a good
chance for an M-class flare. Due to the position of both sunspot groups

close to the central meridian, any CME originating in them may produce

strong geomagnetic consequences as well as SEP fluxes. The Earth is
currently inside a slow (around 380 km/s) solar wind flow with slightly

elevated (around 8 nT) interplanetary magnetic field (IMF) magnitude.
Although the north-south IMF component is steadily negative during the

last two hours, we do not expect any significant geomagnetic activity
due to the low solar wind speed. Quiet geomagnetic conditions with
possibly isolated active (K = 4) intervals are expected in the coming
hours.

TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 123, BASED ON 06 STATIONS.
