COMMENT: Solar activity is very low and will remain so, in the absence

of any sunspot. Since 12:00 UTC today, a sharp rise is observed in the

solar wind speed measured by the ACE spacecraft. This is probably marking

the onset of a recurrent fast solar wind stream. However, the associated

solar coronal hole has shrunk significantly since the last rotation. The

geomagnetic field, which is currently quiet, will thus probably be only

slightly disturbed in the next few hours. We expect unsettled to active

geomagnetic conditions over the next 24 hours, declining thereafter to

mostly unsettled conditions.

TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 000, BASED ON 14 STATIONS.
