COMMENT: We large sunspot rotates over the East limb. This might
increase flaring activity. At the moment, the flaring activity is low.
A
weak shock passed ACE yesterday, Oct 8. Today, Oct 9, a magnetic
structure passed ACE. This might be identified as an ICME. Locally, the

geomagnetic magnetic field was disturbed up to active conditions. The
weak shock and the slow ICME can be associated. A shock could be formed

because of the slow background solar wind. Geomagnetic conditions will

return again to quiet.
