COMMENT: Eleven sunspot groups are reported by Catania today. We expect

flaring activity at the C-level, with an M-class flare possible but not

very likely. Flares will most probably occur in the Catania sunspot
group 72 (NOAA AR 1295) that is now situated near the east solar limb.

The Earth is currently inside a solar wind flow with intermediate speed

(around 530 km/s) and weak (around 3 nT) interplanetary magnetic field

magnitude. We expect quiet geomagnetic conditions.

TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 111, BASED ON 14 STATIONS.
