NOTE: the above forecasts are valid from 1230UT, 11 Aug 2011 until 13 Aug
2011
PREDICTIONS FOR 11 Aug 2011 10CM FLUX: 090 / AP: 015
PREDICTIONS FOR 12 Aug 2011 10CM FLUX: 090 / AP: 014
PREDICTIONS FOR 13 Aug 2011 10CM FLUX: 090 / AP: 007
COMMENT: The CME/shock originating from the Aug 9 X7 flare did not
arrive yet. If it is still to come in the coming hours, its speed and
strength will be smaller than previously anticipated. Hence we now
forecast at most active geomagnetic conditions (Kp=4). Meanwhile NOAA
1263 has rotated behind the limb where it released another large flare,
from Earth visible as C6.2 event. Proton fluxes did not react to this
event. In the coming days we expect flaring activity to drop below
C-class level.
TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 025, BASED ON 16 STATIONS.
