COMMENT: A C1 flare was observed by the GOES spacecraft at 10h28 UT
today. It originated from NOAA AR 1254 (Cat 33). More C-flares are
possible. ACE measurements indicate that the solar wind speed is
increasing due to a fast wind stream from a coronal hole. The wind speed

is currently around 550 km/s and is still increasing. Unsettled to
active geomagnetic conditions are expected in the coming day.
