COMMENT: Solar activity was low and the two main active regions now on
the solar disk are slowly decaying. An occasional C flare remains
possible, with a low chance of an M flare. With the solar wind back at
a
speed of 420 km/s, the Earth magnetosphere was quiet over the last 12
jours. We expect that those quiet conditions will continue during day 1.
Then on June 19, a weak fast stream may raise the geomagnetic activity
to unsettled levels for one day, then returning to mostly quiet
conditions. Later on, by June 22, the Earth will be influenced by a
stronger recurrent coronal hole stream.
