COMMENT: Solar flaring activity remains at C-flaring level. We expect
some flares from NOAA 1226 and 1227 (Cat 98 and 99). We expect active
geomagnetic conditions this afternoon UT due to the influence of the
CMEs that erupted late on May 29. STEREO/HI indicates that the ICME or
shock is nearing the Earth. Since the bulk of the CME is not directed
straight to the earth, we only expect active conditions during several
hours. For the next 2 days we expect again quiet geomagnetic conditions.
Thereafter we may influence some active to unsettled conditions due to
a
northern coronal hole.
