COMMENT: During the past 24h, 2 long duration B flares were observed.
The first one, a B2.1 flare peaking yesterday at 22h44, was associated

with a CME observed by SOHO/LASCO, starting around 22h12. The active
region of origin was NOAA AR 1220, which already turned over the west
limb. The second B flare (B1.9) peaked at 04h39 and originated from NOAA

AR 1218 (Cat 92) on the center of the disk. No clear CME was observed by

STEREO. The background X-ray flux has decreased to A level. The chance

for C-flares remains low.
The solar wind speed remains low at an average of ~380 km/s. A
recurrent coronal hole is crossing the central meridian. We expect the

corresponding fast wind to arrive on May 27. During the last rotation,

this coronal hole caused unsettled to active periods. We expect quiet
geomagnetic conditions for the first 2 days and possible unsettled to
active conditions on day 3.
