PREDICTIONS FOR 22 May 2011 10CM FLUX: 088 / AP: 003

COMMENT: None of the three sunspot groups currently visible on the Sun

(Catania numbers 87, 89, 90; NOAA ARs 1214, 1216, 1218 respectively) is

likely to produce a C-class flare. The Earth is currently inside a slow

(around 400 km/s) solar wind flow with slightly elevated (6-7 nT)
interplanetary magnetic field magnitude. Due to slow solar wind speed,

we expect quiet geomagnetic conditions.

TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 026, BASED ON 20 STATIONS.
