PREDICTIONS FOR 11 May 2011 10CM FLUX: 100 / AP: 012
PREDICTIONS FOR 12 May 2011 10CM FLUX: 100 / AP: 012
PREDICTIONS FOR 13 May 2011 10CM FLUX: 105 / AP: 007
COMMENT: Solar activity is expected to be mostly quiet with small
chances of C-class flares from NOAA ARs 1207, 1208 and 1210. A filament

eruption occurred in the vicinity of ARs 1205 and 1204 on May 11th,
associated with a B8.1 peaking at 0243 UT. The event was linked to a
type II burst, a CME observed by the STEREO spacecraft and to a slight

increase in the >10 Mev proton flux at Earth. Due to its source location

on the disk, the CME is likely not to give any significant geomagnetic

disturbances in the next few days, and if any, not before May 15th.
Geomagnetic activity is expected to be unsettled within the next 24
hours, with risks of isolated periods of active conditions due to the
crossing of a boundary sector.
