COMMENT: Solar activity remains low, with only one C1.1 flare detected

during the last 24h. This flare originated in the NOAA AR 1195 (Cat 58)

which is the region turning into view over the east limb. More C-flares

are possible in the coming days. The current X-ray background is at B
level. SDO/AIA 304 images show a filament eruption that took place on
april 19th. Cactus detected the associated CME in LASCO at 22h24 in the

NE with a speed of 500 km/s. This event is also seen in STEREO-B/COR2
images. The CME is directed mostly northwards, and we do not expect it

to affect the Earth.
Geomagnetic conditions became active this morning, due to the arrival
of a fast coronal wind stream (starting yesterday around 20h). The solar

wind speed increase up to 550 km/s. The local K index in Dourbes reached

a maximum of K=4 (and Kp=5 for one period). Unsettled to active
conditions are expected for the rest of the day. Tomorrow, we will
return to quiet conditions.
