COMMENT: Solar activity is at C-flare level. Several (small) C flares
were observed in the last 24h. There are three main active regions on
the solar surface of which NOAA 1193 (Catania 55) is the most prominent.

This region has a beta-gamma configuration and is still growing. More
C-flares are expected, and M-flare is possible. A backward CME was
observed by STEREO-A yesterday starting at 15h54 UT. A discontinuity was

observed in the solar wind this morning around 06h00 UT. It is probably

linked to the arrival of the CME that was observed late on april 15th.

Unsettled to active geomagnetic conditions are possible in the coming
days, also due to the arrival of a fast wind stream, originating from
the extended southern coronal hole.

TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 042, BASED ON 08 STATIONS.
