COMMENT: Solar activity has been limited to C-class flares from NOAA
ARs 1190, 1193 and 1985. The largest one was a C5.7, from NOAA AR 1190

at 14:14 UT, April 16. There was a large CME directed towards the north

resulting from the eruption of a large filament in the northern
hemisphere, it is not expected to reach the Earth. Geomagnetic
conditions are expected to be quiet for the next 48 hours. Nevertheless,

there exist a risk of active levels in the next 48 hours if the CME from

April 15 arrives to the Earth, and/or the fast solar wind from the
northern extension of the south polar coronal hole is able to reach the

Earth.

TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 051, BASED ON 09 STATIONS.
