PLAIN
NOTE: the above forecasts are valid from 1230UT, 28 Mar 2011 until 30 Mar
2011
PREDICTIONS FOR 28 Mar 2011 10CM FLUX: 120 / AP: 002
PREDICTIONS FOR 29 Mar 2011 10CM FLUX: 122 / AP: 003
PREDICTIONS FOR 30 Mar 2011 10CM FLUX: 125 / AP: 003
COMMENT: Solar activity is low with only small isolated C flares.
However, active regions NOAA1176 and 1183 still have the potential for

producing multiple C flares and a possible M flare. As region NOAA1176

is now crossing the solar central meridian, any significant flare can
trigger an Earth-directed CME. The Earth is cruising in a slow solar
wind (350km/s). A large coronal hole responsible for an Earth-disturbing

fast solar wind stream over the past two solar rotations has now largely

vanished. Consequently, the current quiet geomagnetic conditions are
expected to continue over the upcoming 3-day forecast period.

TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 077, BASED ON 11 STATIONS.
