COMMENT: Catania sunspot group 32 (NOAA AR 1173) is decaying. The solar

X-ray background intensity decreased, and no significant flaring
activity was detected in the past 48 hours. Catania sunspot group 31
(NOAA AR 1175) rapidly emerged from below the photosphere yesterday. An

occasional C-class flare may occur in this sunspot group. The Earth is

currently inside a slow (around 360 km/s) solar wind flow with average

(3-4 nT) interplanetary magnetic field magnitude. We expect quiet
geomagnetic conditions.

TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 022, BASED ON 11 STATIONS.
