PREDICTIONS FOR 13 Jan 2011 10CM FLUX: 082 / AP: 010
PREDICTIONS FOR 14 Jan 2011 10CM FLUX: 082 / AP: 006
COMMENT: Two sunspot groups reported on the solar disc (Catania numbers

91 and 97, NOAA ARs 1140 and 1146 respectively) are unlikely to produce

a C-class flare. The Earth is still inside a solar wind flow with
intermediate speed (around 500 km/s). As the interplanetary magnetic
field magnitude is at the average level (around 4 nT), we expect quiet

geomagnetic conditions in the coming hours. However, tomorrow we expect

the arrival of a fast solar wind stream from a low-latitude coronal hole

in the northern hemisphere. Disturbed geomagnetic conditions (most
probably only up to the active level) are possible.

TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 017, BASED ON 05 STATIONS.
