PREDICTIONS FOR 16 Dec 2007 10CM FLUX: 088 / AP: 003
PREDICTIONS FOR 17 Dec 2007 10CM FLUX: 086 / AP: 015
PREDICTIONS FOR 18 Dec 2007 10CM FLUX: 083 / AP: 024
COMMENT: Although it still produced one C1 flare in the last few hours,

active region NOAA0978 is now decaying quickly. A minor C flare remains

possible until this active region disappears at the West limb on Dec. 18.

The recurrent coronal hole that is now crossing the central solar
meridian has grown considerably since last rotation and has developed a

trans-equatorial extension. Therefore, it may trigger active to minor
storm geomagnetic conditions, starting tomorrow Dec.17, probably in the

second part of the UT day. The geomagnetic field will then be disturbed

by this influence during 2 or 3 days.

TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 019, BASED ON 08 STATIONS.
