COMMENT: Solar activity is expected to be quiet to eruptive with a
moderate risk of C-class flare activity from NOAA AR 0988 and AR 0989.
There is a small chance of M-class flare activity as well. Geomagnetic
activity is expected to be mostly quiet with some risks of isolated
periods of unsettled conditions. The current speed of the solar wind as
measured by the ACE spacecraft is about 600 km/s, which means that the
Earth is still within a fast stream linked to a coronal hole.
TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 036, BASED ON 03 STATIONS.
