COMMENT: Catania sunspot group 59 (NOAA AR 1121) produced another
M-class flare (M1.0 peaking at 13:29 UT yesterday). More flaring
activity up to the M-level is expected from this group. Due to position

of the Catania sunspot group 59 close to the east limb, CMEs associated

with flaring activity from this group are not geoeffective. The Earth is

currently inside a slow (300 km/s) solar wind flow with weak (around 2

nT) interplanetary magnetic field magnitude. We expect quiet geomagnetic

conditions.

TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 027, BASED ON 06 STATIONS.
