NOTE: the above forecasts are valid from 1230UT, 06 Oct 2010 until 08 Oct
2010
PREDICTIONS FOR 06 Oct 2010 10CM FLUX: 075 / AP: 005
PREDICTIONS FOR 07 Oct 2010 10CM FLUX: 075 / AP: 002
PREDICTIONS FOR 08 Oct 2010 10CM FLUX: 075 / AP: 005
COMMENT: A filament eruption occurred this morning around 2h08 UT. It
was clearly observed in SDO/AIA 304 and 193 images. Linked to this
event, there was a long duration B-flare measured by GOES. STEREO-A/COR2

chronograph images show an associated CME around 6h54 UT. Also
SOHO/LASCO observed this CME around 7h34 UT. While STEREO images
indicate this CME is headed towards earth, LASCO shows that it is more

north-east directed. We thus expect that it will mostly miss Earth when

it will arrive at the Earth's orbit (in ~3 days).
Geomagnetic conditions are currently quiet, but might increase up to
unsettled levels when a coronal hole wind stream will arrive late on
october 8.
