PREDICTIONS FOR 05 Oct 2010 10CM FLUX: 075 / AP: 007
PREDICTIONS FOR 06 Oct 2010 10CM FLUX: 075 / AP: 003
PREDICTIONS FOR 07 Oct 2010 10CM FLUX: 074 / AP: 002
COMMENT: While it is turning over the solar west limb, NOAA AR 1109
produced a C2.3 flare at 16h35 yesterday, followed by a series of weak

B-flares today (the strongest one was a B5 flare peaking at 08:43). No

significant flaring activity is expected from any of the other active
regions on the solar disk.
Geomagnetic conditions are quiet to unsettled. There was an increase in

the solar wind speed up to 340 km/s due to the arrival of a fast coronal

wind stream. We expect quiet geomagnetic conditions for the forecasting

period.

TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 007, BASED ON 10 STATIONS.
