COMMENT: Catania sunspot groups 42 and 43 (together constituting the
NOAA AR 1109) still have a potential to produce a C-class flare. The
Earth is currently inside the slow (around 400 km/s) solar wind flow.
However, the interplanetary magnetic field magnitude reached 13 nT in
the last hours, indicating the arrival of an interaction region with a

fast solar wind stream. This fast flow may originate from the
low-latitude coronal hole in the northern hemisphere. We expect quiet
geomagnetic conditions, although isolated intervals of K = 4 are
possible.

TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 021, BASED ON 12 STATIONS.
