COMMENT: Active region NOAA11100 has returned at the East limb as an
aging J sunspot. There is thus only a slight chance for C flares. Solar

flaring activity is thus expected to remain low. However, in the early

hours of Sept.11, a large filament eruption took place in the North-East

quadrant of the solar disk. It produced a semi-halo CME seen in
SOHO/LASCO images by 5:00UT. This can thus lead to a moderate
geomagnetic disturbance in about two days, i.e. on Sept.13. Until then,

we expect quiet geomagnetic conditions.

TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 007, BASED ON 15 STATIONS.
