COMMENT: Solar activity is expected to be very low for the next 48
hours. Geomagnetic activity is expected to be mostly quiet with risks of

isolated periods of unsettled to active conditions during the next 24
hours. The Earth entered the fast solar wind stream linked to a coronal

hole on Aug. 23rd. Active conditions were observed at planetary levels

from 21UT, Aug. 23rd until 6 UT, Aug, 24th. Current solar wind speed as

measured with the ACE spacecraft is about 700 km/s.
