COMMENT: NOAA active regions 1099 and 1093 continue to show flaring
activity with a C1.6 flare peaking at 18h08 yesterday being the most
intense one up till now. Another CME lifted off this morning seen on
STEREO A COR2 data staring at 9h24. Again we do not have much data yet,

but expect the shock to arrive around at Earth on August 18. The CME of

August 14 caused a minor radio storm (S1) and was accompanied by an EUV

wave and a radio shock. Solar activity is expected to be at low levels,

with a chance for another C flare. Geomagnetic conditions will be quiet

to unsettled due to a coronal wind stream. On August 17 the CME seen on

August 14 is supposed to arrive, but we do not expect major geomagnetic

disturbances.

TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 028, BASED ON 05 STATIONS.
