COMMENT: Solar activity is expected to be mostly quiet during the next

48 hours. NOAA AR 1093 produced a M1 flare on Aug. 7, peaking at 18:24

UT. This event was associated with a metric type II burst, an EUV
coronal wave and a CME seen by COR2 behind. EUV observations suggest
that the CME is likely to be a halo CME as seen from the Earth.
Geomagnetic activity is expected to be quiet for the next 24 hours.
Activity is expected to reach active to minor storm levels on Aug. 10
due to the arrival of the halo CME of Aug. 7.

TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 026, BASED ON 03 STATIONS.
