PREDICTIONS FOR 06 Aug 2010 10CM FLUX: 084 / AP: 017
PREDICTIONS FOR 07 Aug 2010 10CM FLUX: 085 / AP: 007
COMMENT: Solar activity is expected to be mostly quiet with risks of C

class flares from NOAA AR 1093. Geomagnetic activity is expected to be

mostly unsettled, with possible isolated periods of active conditions on

Aug. 5th. Minor storm conditions were observed at planetary levels and

locally (K=5 at Dourbes between 18-21 UT) late on Aug. 4th. ACE solar
wind data show a magnetic cloud signature passing by the spacecraft
between 10 UT (Aug. 4th) and 0 UT (Aug. 5th). This suggests that the
second CME, linked to the polar crown filament eruption of Aug. 1st,
already arrived at Earth orbit in the course of Aug. 4th.
