COMMENT: Catania sunspot group 97 (no NOAA number yet) produced two
C-class flares in the last 24 hours, including the C1.8 flare peaking at

09:01 UT today. We expect further flaring activity at the C-level from

this group, with an isolated M-class flare not excluded, although
unlikely. The Earth is currently inside the slow (360 km/s) solar wind

flow with average (5 nT) interplanetary magnetic field magnitude. We
expect quiet geomagnetic conditions.

TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 009, BASED ON 21 STATIONS.
