PLAIN
NOTE: the above forecasts are valid from 1230UT, 26 Jan 2010 until 28 Jan
2010
PREDICTIONS FOR 26 Jan 2010 10CM FLUX: 080 / AP: 003
PREDICTIONS FOR 27 Jan 2010 10CM FLUX: 079 / AP: 003
PREDICTIONS FOR 28 Jan 2010 10CM FLUX: 079 / AP: 002
COMMENT: Two sunspot groups are currently present on the solar disk:
Catania numbers 37 and 38 (NOAA ARs 1041 and 1042 respectively). A
C-flare is possible but unlikely due to the low X-ray flux background
level (around A8) and the X-ray flux low variability during the past 48

hours. The Earth is currently inside the slow (speed around 380 km/s)
solar wind flow with average (4-5 nT) interplanetary magnetic field
magnitude. The geomagnetic activity is expected to remain on the quiet

level.

TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 019, BASED ON 06 STATIONS.
