COMMENT: Solar activity has remained at low levels for the past 48
hours, with no more M-class flares after January 20. NOAA AR 11041 has

still potential for C-, and possible isolated M-, class flares. Catania

has identified a new region close to disk center (N29E19), number 38,
with two small sunspots (no NOAA number yet). Geomagnetic conditions are

quiet and expected to remain so.
