PREDICTIONS FOR 05 Feb 2008 10CM FLUX: 071 / AP: 005
PREDICTIONS FOR 06 Feb 2008 10CM FLUX: 071 / AP: 004
PREDICTIONS FOR 07 Feb 2008 10CM FLUX: 071 / AP: 004
COMMENT: Two filament ejections occured just East of disc center on
Feb.3, 23:30 and on Feb.4, 8:30 UT. The second one spawned a faint
Earth-directed semi-halo CME seen in LASCO C2 images on Feb.4, 9:30UT.
Its speed is estimated at about 350km/s. Therefore, it is unlikely that
this subtle event will be geoeffective. The solar wind speed is now
declining below 400km/s and quiet geomagnetic conditions should prevail.
An All-Quiet alert has thus been issued. Starting on Feb.8, a new
recurrent coronal hole disturbance will again raise the geomagnetic
activity to active levels.
TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 000, BASED ON 04 STATIONS.
