COMMENT: Solar activity is quiet and is expected to remain so as no
sunspot groups are visible on the disc. The Earth is currently inside a

slow solar wind flow (around 440 km/s) with weak interplanetary magnetic

field magnitude (around 3 nT). We thus expect quiet geomagnetic
conditions in the coming hours. A low-latitude weak and small coronal
hole has passed the central meridian, so the solar wind speed may rise

in the coming days. We, however, do not expect the K index to go above
4.
