PLAIN
NOTE: the above forecasts are valid from 1230UT, 01 Jan 2008 until 03 Jan
2008
PREDICTIONS FOR 01 Jan 2008 10CM FLUX: 082 / AP: 001
PREDICTIONS FOR 02 Jan 2008 10CM FLUX: 087 / AP: 001
PREDICTIONS FOR 03 Jan 2008 10CM FLUX: 089 / AP: 001
COMMENT: Solar activity remains dominated by the -yet unnumbered-
active region that is rotating over the solar east limb. From the
current sideways perspective, the corresponding sunspot region cannot
not be well imaged yet and therefore the flaring forecast is uncertain.

C-class flares are surely possible with a decreasing chance for an
isolated M-flare. Geomagnetic conditions are expected to remain quiet
until a coronal hole has crossed the solar central meridian towards the

end of this week. Meanwhile ... a happy 2008!
