COMMENT: NOAA AR 1007 (no Catania number anymore) is now situated at
the west limb. We do not expect a significant flare to occur in this
active region. The solar wind plasma density and the interplanetary
magnetic field have increased as the Earth has entered the interaction

region between a slow and a faster solar wind flows. The solar wind
speed, however, rose only up to 400 km/s. We therefore expect quiet
geomagnetic conditions, although isolated intervals of K = 4 are not
excluded in the case of the continuing rise of the solar wind speed.

TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 000, BASED ON 08 STATIONS.
