PREDICTIONS FOR 05 Nov 2008 10CM FLUX: 070 / AP: 006

COMMENT: Catania sunspot group 90, NOAA AR 1007, continues to produce
flaring activity up to the C level. After the partial halo CME recorded

yesterday, other CMEs associated with these flares are weak and/or
narrow. We thus do not expect any resulting geomagnetic disturbance. The

Catania sunspot group 90, NOAA AR 1007, still has a potential to produce

more C-class flares. However, as the sunspot group is approaching the
west limb, an Earth-directed CME is unlikely. The Earth is currently
inside the slow solar wind flow with weak to average interplanetary
magnetic field. The geomagnetic conditions will thus remain quiet.

TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 009, BASED ON 06 STATIONS.
