Hi Ian and all,

Just when you think you've heard it all along comes another one. Then
some things bear repeating.

"Maaketing, it's all in the maaketing."

If you want good laughs check out Monster Cable, I'm not sure but Google
can find just about anything. I never did figure out why the plugs are
gold plated when rear panel sockets aren't or what oxygen free copper
just might be. Well, leave it to Monster to separate the audiophiles from
the audiophools and separate them from their money.

I don't know if there is any 70cM ATV left or what, way back when I lived
in the Jersey side of the NYC metro area and there were 3 repeaters I
could monitor with my TV switched to cable and a BMF antenna. One was on
Staten Island and another frequency was shared by Greenbrook NJ and one
atop the WTC beaming east to Long Island. The last one was quite active,
nothing at all on the others so once in a while I'd join in receiving on
the ATV channel and transmitting on the 2M FM talkaround.
