CE0_ei - Frank, I2DMI will be active as CE0Y/I2DMI from Easter Island
(SA-001) on 2-9 August. He will operate RTTY only on 80, 40, 20,
17, 15, 12 and 10 metres. QSL via home call, direct or bureau. All
of the QSOs will be uploaded to LoTW and eQSL as soon as he

CT7 - CT1BOL, CT1DZR, CT1EAV, CT1EEB, CT1ENV, CT1FFU, CT1FJL, CT1HXB
and CT1IZW will be active from Berlenga Island (EU-040) on 29-31
July. They will participate in the IOTA Contest as CR5B; outside
the contest they will be signing homecall/p on all bands, 60m
included. The authorized 60m band frequencies in Portugal are
5288,5 SSB & CW, 5371,5 SSB & CW, 5403,5 SSB & CW. QSL CR5B via

CT7 - Antonio CT1EPV (CU8AS), Hermann CT3FN (HB9CRV) and Siggi DL2HYH
will be active as CS2W from Insua Island (EU-150) and lighthouse
on 1-7 August. They plan to operate CW and SSB on 40-6 metres

GM - Andre, GM3VLB plans to operate from several islands in the
Shetland (EU-012) and Orkney (EU-009) groups between 28 July and

I - Vincenzo, IK7IMO, Piero IK7VJX and Roberto IK7XIV will be active
on SSB and CW as IJ7A (http://ij7a.altervista.org/blog/) from San
Pietro Island (EU-073) on 29-31 July, IOTA Contest included. QSL

I - IK8LIU, IK8WEJ, IZ0FKE, IZ8EDJ, IZ8EGM, IZ8KNW, IZ8LKL, IZ8OJG and
IZ8UZF will be active as IC8L from Licosa Island (EU-031, IIA
SA-001) on 7 August. QSL via IZ8EGM, direct or bureau.
JA - Yoshi, JJ8DEN plans to be active as JJ8DEN/8 from a few islands in
the AS-147 IOTA group: Rebun (30-31 July), Rishiri (1-2 August),
Teuri (4-5 August) and Yagishiri (6-7 August). This schedule might
be cancelled without notice due to sea conditions. He plans are to
be QRV on 40-6 metres CW, RTTY, PSK31 and JT65A. QSL via home
call, direct or bureau.
JD1_mt - Take, JG8NQJ/JD1 is active from Minami Torishima (OC-073) until
mid-October. During this period he will be QRV on 17 and 30
metres; he will return to the island in December and be active on

JD1_oga- Makoto, JI5RPT (www.ji5rpt.com/jd1/) will be active as JD1BLY from
Chichijima (AS-031), Ogasawara on 1-7 August. He will operate CW,
SSB and digital modes on 40-6 metres. QSL via home call. [TNX NG3K]
LZ - Laci LZ/HA0HW, Tomi LZ/HA4DX and Ivan LZ1PJ will travel through
Bulgaria from the Serbian border to the Black Sea area between 6
and 21 August. They will stop in different Bulgarian National
Parks and will try to operate a few hours from each. During the
second week they will go on a side trip to one of the islands in
IOTA group EU-181. All activities will take place mostly on 40,
30, 20 and 17 metres CW and SSB. QSL via home calls. Direct or

OZ - Ric, DL2VFR will be active as OZ0FR/p from Aero Island (EU-172) on
6-19 August. He will operate mostly CW, with some SSB. QSL via

TA - Look for TC1LHW (from Karaburun Lighthouse) and TC7LHW (from Yoros
Lighthouse) to be active on 1-8 August. Both lighthouses are on

UA - Nick, RA1QQ will be active again as RA1QQ/1 from Malyy Island
(EU-162) and Kandalakshskiy lighthouse between 28 July and 10
August, including an entry in the IOTA Contest. Side trips to
other islands are lighthouses are possible. QSL via home

V3 - Colin, KU5B will be active as V31UB from Belize on 5-10 August. He
will operate SSB, CW and digital modes on 80-6 metres, and will
take part in the North American QSO Party CW. QSL via home call

VP6 - Jacques F6BEE, Nigel G3TXF, Gilles VE2TZT, Michel FM5CD and
Vincent F4BKV will be active as VP6T from Pitcairn Island (OC-044)
on 20-29 January 2012. Plans are to have three stations active
round-the-clock on 160-10 metres CW, SSB and RTTY. Pitcairn has
not seen any large-scale amateur DXpedition operation for the past
decade, and VP6T has a target of more than 50,000 QSOs. Efforts
will be made to give this extremely rare Entity on as many bands
as possible, but especially on the low bands. QSL via G3TXF,

W - Members of the Old Barney ARC (www.obarc.org) will be operating as
N2OB from "Old Barney", the Barnegat Lighthouse (USA-039) on Long
Beach Island (NA-111) on 6 August from about 13 UTC through 21
UTC. Expect main activity on 20 and 40 metres SSB with two

YB - Look for Pri, YB0ECT to participate in the IOTA Contest on 20m CW
in the 12-hour category. He is located in Jakarta (OC-021). QSL

IOTA CONTEST ---> The following stations have announced their participation
in this year's RSGB IOTA Contest (from 12 UTC on 30 July through 12 UTC on
the 31st). For lastest additions please give a look at www.rsgbiota.org,
and at the announced operation lists maintained by
Ric, DL2VFR (www.iota-expedition.com/IOTA2011/iota2011.html)
and Bill, NG3K (www.ng3k.com/Misc/iota2011.html)
Other groups will be activated during the weekend, but advance information
did not mention if the operators participate in the contest. Full details on

SWLs please note that the IOTA SWL Contest has been picked up by the
Mediterraneo DX Club (www.mdxc.org/swl/index.php), in cooperation with the
RSGB HF Contests Committee, and it will be held in parallel with the IOTA
Contest.

NA-172 ---> Rick, K6VVA and Mike, K9AJ went QRT from NA-242 on 25 July,
after 3875 QSOs. The trip to NA-172 has been cancelled because of "a
combination of poor HF conditions and a limited amount of available time on
the island, in addition to the trouble of changing existing travel
arrangements". It will be rescheduled for July 2012. [TNX W6SC]
NA-198 ---> VE9MY, VE9GLF and VO1DK had to cancel their activity from
Little Bell Island (NA-198) [425DXN 1055] because of inclement weather

QSL AP2ARS ---> Dragan, 9A6W has been guest operating from AP2ARS (the
Pakistan Amateur Radio Society's station in Islamabad) for a few days. He
will leave the country on 3 August. QSL for this operation only via 9A6W.
